Scientology Volunteer Ministers Continue Venezuela Earthquake Relief

Following the powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela on 24 June, Scientology Volunteer Ministers have maintained their humanitarian support as the response moves from emergency rescue into relief coordination.

The volunteers have been supporting displaced communities in Caracas, La Guaira and nearby areas through practical logistics. Their work includes moving aid materials as communities face continuing needs for shelter.

Recent public reports eu news politics have also highlighted the participation of Venezuelan actress and humanitarian Ruddy Rodríguez, who joined efforts with the Scientology Volunteer Ministers to support communities affected by the disaster. Her presence has helped draw attention to the importance of practical help beyond the first emergency days.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers continue bringing help and hope to Venezuela as part of a wider humanitarian response involving local communities, rescue personnel, medical teams, civil society groups and international support networks.

The Volunteer Ministers programme was established by L. Ron Hubbard, founder of the Scientology religion, with the motto “Something can be done about it.” In Venezuela, that principle is being reflected through hands-on assistance for families facing loss, displacement and uncertainty.

Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, said the response shows that human dignity is protected through concrete action. “When families are rebuilding their lives, help must remain practical, respectful and organised,” he said. “The work of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers in Venezuela reflects solidarity in action.”
